RCMP Detachment

In 2011 Greyback was awarded the contract to construct a new RCMP Detachment, responding to the needs of increased policing requirements in Golden and surrounding areas. The existing building had been in use since 1977. 

Built on top of a reclaimed elementary school site, the 1160 sq meter building serves as a standalone building for the detachment, offering full facilities for office and field staff. These facilities include meeting rooms, community outreach spaces, open and private office spaces, exercise rooms, change rooms, secure storage, evidence and records storage, interrogation and interview rooms, 6 cells, garage bays and regional communications server rooms.
