Prato Square

The Prato Square, Phase 2 project is a multistory residential structure located at 955 Leon Avenue, in Kelowna BC. The new phase 2 addition, built by Greyback, contains 28 units, including four full ADA accessible units on the ground floor.

The structure was built using suspended concrete slabs, and concrete columns, provided by National Forming systems. Concrete construction helps control the noise between units and neighbouring thumps from tenants above, while adding extra fire protection. The exterior of the building is a combination of exposed concrete, galvanized structural steel components and attractive brick cladding.

Units include large balconies and offer either one bedroom/one bathroom, two bedroom/1.5 bathrooms, or fully ADA accessible plan options. Kitchens come fully equipped with sink, fridge, stove, oven and dishwasher. Interior finishes include contemporary melamine cabinets, quartz countertops with undermount sinks, with vinyl composite wood plank flooring throughout.

The project scope also included a large landscaped area over a suspended slab parkade.
