Painted Rock Estate Winery

The Painted Rock tasting room is a luxurious facility that  hosts everything from casual tastings of their award-winning wines to special events held on the terraced patios.   The winery overlooks the spectacular views of the estate vineyards and Skaha Lake far below.

Simple forms and inspired cladding create a building that is a dynamic complement to a beautiful setting. The design is sleek and tucked nicely into the landscape, and its orientation within the vineyards overlooking Skaha Lake is just perfect.

Cladding this contemporary building design is a total of 2,400 square feet of modern Alucobond® aluminum composite material. The building wings are tipped with Alucobond naturAL Reflect, the fantastic views of the lake as well as the hills and mountains are visible in this cladding. The mirrored surface reflects the moonrise in the east and the sunset in the west. 

Interior space effortlessly transitions to the exterior offering more seating and entertaining options. The entire wrap around patio has an indoor/outdoor feel with the full length glass doors folding back into the walls to completely open the space to the oudoors. Gleaming white flooring was also used throughout the indoor and the patio areas to create the seamless flow to the outside areas.

Inside the tasting room is their expansive tasting bar, illuminated shelving and a small event kitchen for special functions.
